Together, we’ll transmute your pain, celebrate your joy, and distil your wisdom through the creation of beautifully crafted poems that speak to your deepest truths.

Alive is a quick but deep journey for visionary women who want to reconnect with their voice in a safe, intimate space. You’ll explore poetry, express your true self, and create a portfolio of impactful poems—all in just three or six 1 to 1 sessions.

About Me

As a coach, teacher and poet I’ve spent years watching extraordinary women convince themselves they’re “too much”, “too different” or “not ready.” I don’t believe any of that. I believe that we are living through a profound transition, and the gifts we’ve spent a lifetime hiding are exactly what’s needed now. Poetry is a portal into what has not yet been said. Writing a poem is to put a truth out into the world that has never been communicated in that way. I bring my decades of experience of working in circle and with poets, and women who before working with me did not dare to call themselves a poet. And what I witness time and time again is a gradual opening to all that they and we are. A poet is someone who sees, and this is the true revolution.

Firstly in the actual poetic content, the poets selected each month and the way Alison helped us to see, hear and interpret the poets’ words.
